easily satisfy your concerns. Frank Eck - President and owner of Eck Custom Homes, lives in your community, beautiful Greenwood South Carolina. I am a highly focused type of person - knowing from my early high school days, that I wanted to be employed in the building business in some aspect. I pointed my construction and building interests in college, and graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Piedmont College back in 1977. While attending college I was employed with the Greenwood Mills Corporation working under Greenwood's Master Carpenter, George Powell, providing maintenance on the corporation's various real estate holdings. I then relocated to the booming town of Hilton Head Island, SC in 1977. This was a time that provided me great pleasure with the islands many residential developments just starting to evolve. I was employed in a Lead Carpenter position with various contracting firms, working on many homes throughout the Hilton Head Island area, and gaining a wealth of working knowledge. In 1979 I received my Residential Builders License and ventured out into the field of ownership and started Plantation Services Inc. Our service was to maintain the real estate condominiums for The Sea Pines Plantation Company. Through the years our business has evolved from small name changes to finally relocating to our home town of Greenwood, SC in 1999. One aspect that has not changed is building quality custom homes - to the best of our ability! We know and understand the "cookie factory" mentality that currently exists with many of the larger building firms. It is our firm intention to never loose track of a home, before - during - and after the construction process. We take pride in building a few select homes each year, but doing it right!
